Snigdha Dutta is a final year PhD candidate in Health Studies at the School of Health Sciences, University of Nottingham, U.K. She has an MSc. in Mental Health Research from the University of Nottingham, and a BA (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Delhi, India. Her PhD is exploring the development of psychological, social, and emotional resilience in undergraduate students from an ecological perspective. She has research experiences in a multitude of topics such as forensic psychology, human trafficking, nursing, child psychology, and hearing research. She has previously worked as a special needs educator in a private school in Delhi, India.
She became an ARMY during a personal struggle with burnout which led to discovering BTS’s music videos. Their journey of growth resonated with her research topic of resilience and piqued her interest in their artistry and their influence on the fandom’s mental health.
