Dr. Chelsea Murdock is Director of the Clemson University Writing Center. She is also a lecturer in the Department of English at Clemson University. She earned her BA in English from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia. After earning a PhD in Composition and Rhetoric from the University of Kansas, Chelsea was a Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellow at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She has taught courses on various topics, including first- and second-year English composition, advanced composition, cultural rhetorics, indigenous rhetorics and new media, and technical writing. Her current research considers the material-rhetorical presence of ledger art in archives and museums. She also studies the use of transformative works and participatory cultures in composition pedagogy.
Dr. Murdock became a fan of BTS in October 2016 with the release of Wings. She has been fortunate enough to attend four BTS concerts since becoming an ARMY. BTS quotes decorate her faculty office — “Hoping for more good days.” and “Accelerate more.” Dr. Murdock is currently Project Leader for Supplemental Stories.
